Description
Now, we do not have a cheap and robust technology for creating personalized scaffolds for tissue engineering. Thus hospitals can not afford to establish costly laboratories for scaffold preparation. Recent designed, PLC based material for 3D printing technology could be use in tissue culturing. The material is silica nanoparticles-doped to obtain a specific porosity. Such porosity provides a sufficient environment for cells adhesion. This material and additive manufacturing could be used to print individual shaped scaffolds. Such printed scaffolds will be cheaper and easier to prepare, and finally they do not require advanced chemistry laboratory in every hospital. We would like to accelerate the implementation of personalized scaffold-based tissue culturing to hospitals by performing base cytotoxicity and cells proliferation tests on printed scaffold. Then we would like to start a commercial production of tested material.
Benefits for supporters
0.08% of shares in the company for every 500€ (9.6% total). Possibility of implementation of cheap, robust and fast scaffold preparation system in hospitals.
