An intelligent application that can change your electricity consumption at home! It will track your electricity consumption in real-time, monitor your electricity consumption and alert you when there is abnormality to help you save money and conserve energy effortlessly, and all of that is by machine learning and AI tools.

Our system is built around a measuring device connected to the electrical panel, which measures the electricity consumption in the house for each phase. It communicates with a smart computer that collects all the data from the measuring device and performs machine learning operations on it.

All the processed information from this smart computer is transferred to a dedicated application that the user installs.

We invite innovative minds to participate in improving our application!

Challenge 1:
Your task is to figure How do you plan to maintain the privacy of users and the electricity consumption data you collect? Do you have solutions to protect the data from security breaches and unauthorized use? Users will be sensitive about granting access to their personal information to measurement devices, so it is crucial to ensure that you have an effective security system.

Challenge 2:

Another task is to identify the best measurement device available in the market for our use. The measuring device should have communication capabilities with at least one of the following options, and it should be able to retrieve all consumption data in the house:

1.      Wi-Fi

2.      Zigbee

This device will be crucial in effectively collecting and transferring data for our system.

Solutions will be evaluated by Nitzan Brill and Dan Gofman. Evaluation will be carried out based on the following criteria:

Safety and security

Feasibility and practicality

Suitability

Cost-effectiveness
